Food for Your Mood Experiment: Introductory Video

Day 1 Results

I will be using the following:

For mood and energy level, I will use a ten point scale with 10 being highest and 0 being lowest. After each food entry, smile emotocon will follow a “good” mood food ๐Ÿ™‚ย and a frown emotocon will follow a “bad” mood food ๐Ÿ™ย (See “Food for Your Mood” blog post.) ย  If a food has both good and bad components it will receive theย  :/ emotocon.ย It will be counted against the good mood food percentage.

AM Sleep:ย  7 1/2 hours, Mood:ย  8 on a scale of 10 Energy Level:ย  7 on a scale of 10ย  Exercise:ย ChaLean Extreme Burn Circuit 2

Breakfast:ย  1/2 Protein bar ๐Ÿ™‚ 1 Scoop Shakeology ๐Ÿ™‚ย  1/2 c almond milk ๐Ÿ™‚ย  1 Tbsp Peanut Butterย  :/ย  1/5 of banana ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Snack:ย  1/2 Protein bar ๐Ÿ™‚

PM Mood:ย  9/10ย  Energy 8/10

Lunch:ย  1 Lean Pork Chop ๐Ÿ™‚ย ย 3 pcs. white sharp cheddar cheese ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Watermellon/cantalope ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Snack:ย  3 Hershey’s minis dark chocolate :/

Supper:ย  1 1/2 mini pizza crust ๐Ÿ™ย  Salsa ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Red pepper ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Colby Jack cheese ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Salad ๐Ÿ™‚ 2 Tbs. Sun dried tomato vinaigrette dressing ๐Ÿ™‚

Evening Mood: 8/10 Energy Level: 8/10ย  Energy Dip: 4 p.m. Stress Factor: Riding with my permit carrying daughter Oiy!

Good to bad food percentage:ย  14 good mood foods out of 17 for a total of 82%
